Benefits when you're cute: More people notice you, more people talk to you, people listen to you, you get jobs easier, you get dates easier, it's easier to get into a relationship, people text you back faster, you get more followers, you get on those fuckyeah sites faster, you feel better about yourself.
Benefits when you're ugly: You don't get raped.
Peacehon:
This is not even a little bit ok.
A) Rape jokes never funny
B) Conventionally unattractive people are sexually assaulted all the time & their sexual assaults are often disregarded or devalued because people do not believe someone would have to force them to have sex or would want to force sex upon them. This is a gross body shaming joke that contributes to a discourse which devalues the sexual assault of conventionally unattractive individuals
C) This contributes to the idea that rape is about what you're wearing/what you look like and not about power which is false, dangerous, and supports rape culture.
I'm sorry if any of my followers liked this, but I kind of just feel like fuck anyone who thought this was funny.

C’mon, people: George Romney (Mitt’s father) was eligible to be elected President of the United States (had he won the nomination) despite having been born in Mexico for the same reason John McCain was eligible to have been elected President...

I’m looking for 10-15 people to interview for my thesis. I would like to interview African-American rock music listeners/fans and understand how their music preferences have shaped or changed their racial identity and sense of belonging within the black community.
